Lesson plan understanding quadrilaterals

 Learning objectives:

Students will be able to 1. Know about polygons. 2. Classify the polygons.3.  Know types of polygon   i.e.  Convex, concave polygons and regular, irregular polygons 4. Know about the angle sum property of polygon

Teaching Methodology

A) Teaching aids: Power point presentation/ white board / marker

b) Teaching Strategy:

Student will be  ask oral questions Basic knowledge of quadrilateral, open and curve figure, lines and line segment. Vertices and edges. Knowledge of 2-D shapes

Assignment:

Students will be asked to write book works

Learning outcomes:

Students will develop the ability to understand, develop the ability to analyze and differentiate between various types of quadrilaterals and polygons. Perform analytical skills like identifying type of polygon and their properties and develop critical thinking and collaboration in the develop critical thinking and collaboration in the process.

Critical and logical thinking, problem solving skills through various real life situations. Communication skills form mathematical terminology. Procedure writing skill through solving a question in logical sequence.
